craigsduc,

Congratulations on the white exterior paint.

What is wrong with silver wheels on a white RS? I know Porsche AG is being difficult with the standard RS cosmetics. Assume it is to avoid confusion with the 996 GT3 RS but that still doesn't make any sense since the 996 RS wasn't offered with black graphics.

Silver is ok but I would prefer black ( at least centers ) on a white car. I will get a set of matt black center Champion Monolite RS 98,s ( in 19 inch ) for track/minimal street use so if I can only get the wheels in silver from PCNA, I,m not exactly going to turn the car down. I did see a white 997 S with black factory wheels ( gloss ) and it looked pretty good except the all black in gloss didnt look quite right hence the matt center spec. I would like the black graphics and have inquired into those as well as the wheels to see if it can come that way. To spend more for white................and not get the graphics is beyond me.
I,ve thought of blue accents/graphics but feel they are a bit dated and not proper for an 07 RS. I will probably install the black RS graphics anyway when I have the body graphics done ( in vinyl ). I am considering a few themes that would work with the RS..........Martini being one of them!

Those Champion RS98's are only 11" wide and the GT3 uses a 12" wide rear wheel. Other than that I love them and have them on my 997 S.

Actually the RS / 07 turbo rears are 11.5 inches with the GT3 rears coming in at 12 inches.
