Default Car configurator in Porsche web site doesn't work...

... maybe because it's being updated to include GT3 RS and Targa ???

You won't see it at least until the final/official order guide has been released...if at all.

Last time there was a double sidded sheet of card for the 996 GT3RS (a simple info sheet), so don't expect to see any configurator for the RS or a full-size brochure.

Porsche do have an internal configurator but there are no pictures with it and it's simply to allow dealers to spec the car with the buyer - not for external use.

The options are very limited: -

Optional Colours (Orange/Viper)
Roll Cage in Black (no cost)
Wheels in Silver (no cost)
VTS
Grey Top Tint Screen
Carbon Trim Options (same as GT3)
Leather Trim Options (same as GT3)
PCM
Phone Module
Centre console exterior colour
Floor Mats

That was about it - there were Individual options but they are the a-typical: coloured stitching, extra leather, extra carbon, blah blah blah, nothing to get excited about, especially as they can delay the car up to 3-months

Egad! Who would wait three more months for contrast stitching? That's a lot of track time!
