Default What makes a GT2 and GT3?

Is it an upgrade package a whole different car in itself? Mainly I wanted to know how you guys afford these things. Whats a base price look like for these?Hows your monthly payment lol? How old are you, and how often do you drive your GT2 or GT3. I still cant get over how beautiful a Porsche can actually be. Sorry if this is off topic.

Que paso Boriqua?! The GT2 and GT3 are Porsches "racier versions" of the 996TT and the 996 Carrera. Limited numbers of these cars were made (approximately 299 GT2's) and (under 1000 GT3's) They are lighter (The GT2 is 2wd vs. the AWD TT) they have no sunroofs (At least the 996's don't ) no back seats, more aggresive suspensions and in the case of the GT3 a completely different motor all together. The Base TT has 420hp vs. the GT2's 456(02-03)/483(04-05). The base Carrera has 325hp (02 and up) vs the GT3's 381+. The MSRP on my car in 05 was $104k. Some GT2's were easily over $200k. My father has an 02 GT2 that MSRP'd at $192k. I am 30. My monthly payment is about $1100. And I drive it everyday! One of the best Porsches I have ever owened.
Saludos!
Luis

insurance premium.... really i am embarrased to divulge the high amount. that's just say my ins. monthly premium rivales luis' car pmt.

i bought my first one outright when i was 35, as birthday gift.
then i mistakenly sold it.
leased the 2nd one so i can abuse it more.
then sold it again mistakenly.
the bought third one out right.

Man, mine is double that and I am 33 and married.

Both me and my wife have clean records, but we do live in the Westside.

Farmers suck anyway, I have from good sources that there are at least two A insurance companies that have no crazy exclusion clauses for DE in California, and I am working on now switching my auto, home, and umbrella over.

Things would have been much simpler if AmEx had agreed to write the GT2, which they didn't. Even though I have never had a claim in 4 years, my entire time with them.

I use Farmers for the 05 GT3 ($1300) our 03 Land Rover Disco ($750) and home.
Your GT2 is worth considerably more, is harder to replace and is more of a liablilty hp wise than my car too.
