Is September 2006 the first build month for 997 GT3?
I will be in Germany mid September so I plan on going to Porsche AG (Zuf) and hope to see some 997 GT3 street and race versions on the assembly line.
Previously I got to see some 996 GT3 and 996 GT3 RS models being assembled.

That should be interesting. I had ordered an August build car for Sept Euro delivery but passed when the 60 day delay was announced. Driving Europe in November did not seem worth it to me. "My" former car is, according to my dealer, still scheduled for a November delivery here. The question is when production will actually begin.

Porsche AG at Zuffenhausen typically has a summer vacation and set up assembly line period each August.
I always tell them what features many of us want. I also ask the guides questions that I think they should have answers to but don't ! Then they say, "You have been around Porsches awhile and at the factory before, correct?" Ya Ya.

Maybe I can reprogram the factory robots so that no sunroof sections are placed on any 997 GT3 models.
