I want to order a GT3 but my local dealer is not getting any of the first allocation. Anyone know of a dealer that has an available car? I am on the East coast.

Still waiting to hear any definite. My dealer was struggling with the PCNA rep to get an allocation in the first production month. So that probably means I will have to wait a little longer. I do have the first slot with my dealer, as well as the 1st slot on the RS. I can't stand the wait.

Recent speculation was November 2006 for a North American Spec 997 GT3.

My friends friend (I know.. heresay), apparently has his VIN number, so I assume the 1st batch will be here in less than 2 months. He was number 2 at his dealership.

I 'assume' that because his dealer tells him he will get it late in the summer. Plus the average time from VIN number to dealer is about 8 weeks.
