Default Euro delivery

I have just been told that Porsche will not provide European delivery on new US-bound GT3s in Sept or Oct even if they're built in August. Does anyone have any further information on this, like is it true and why not?

Who knows the facts. Certainly not the dealers. That's not meant as criticism, just that PCNA just doesn't have a track record for planning ahead and delivering to a schedule. It might be PCAG at fault or an OEM or Global Warming -- who knows? -- but it's hard to get hard facts out of Porsche.

I was told factory delivery would add a month or so (build time scheduling) and a month or so (ground freight to US after you play with it in Germany.) If money is no object, air freight could cut that to a week or two.
