so as being the 5th owner and 2 of the priors had the car wrapped. i am still in the process of finding all the bits of wrap and goo left behind. also finding all the little things to fix. i honestly think over the next year or so as i refresh the car, ill end up pulling so much off the car. my question is, are there any bolts that have specific torque specs i should look out for? i have seen Raby's "Fastening Specifications" book for the 996 and couldnt imagine much would be that different out side of the motor. i have also seen various torque spec sheets based on the bolt size. im also assuming there shouldnt be much that deviated from those specs.

I'd recommend downloading the Google drive link and working through those. But if you have a specific bolt that you need a torque spec for, someone probably has the answer and you can ask.

I don’t find the workshop manual’s torque specs to be much help - it’s often very difficult to track which spec is for which bolt because of how vague the descriptions are.

FCP Euro’s 997 videos on YouTube are exceptional substitutes - cross reference with the workshop manual for the cases where base 997 vs GT3 differs, and finally do a search here to be sure.

I’ve redone every nut and bolt in the suspension of mine, happy to help on anything related to that in particular.
