How does “developed for Porsches” work? This product only works on Porsches?

 

The Hub Mount Plates vary depending on the car model. Any vehicle can be aligned using the Precision Hub Stands, provided its Hub Mount Plates support the lug pattern or centerlock. The Precision Hub Stands - Porsche Pro package utilizes a Hub Mount Plate design tailored specifically for Porsches. These plates support tire diameters ranging from 25" to 28" (635mm to 711mm) and feature a 5x130mm lug pattern for standard cars, along with a 5x130mm rotor drive pin pattern for centerlock cars. They also incorporate a standardized center bore to accommodate various centerlock adapters across different generations.

For example:
For instance, if you purchased a Precision Hub Stands - Porsche Pro package to align a 997 GT3. Later, you acquire a 992 Cup, you'll only need to add the centerlock adapters specific to the 992 Cup—the other components remain unchanged. In the subsequent year, you introduce a Super Trofeo, you'd only need to purchase the corresponding Hub Mount Plates and centerlock adapters for the Super Trofeo.

We also offer a universal lug pattern option, the Lock-A-Lug system, that accommodates patterns from 5x100mm to 5x130mm utilizing precision slots and high strength washers. (Picture below not showing washers)

Wheelbases differ, and so do our Grid Plates. The Laser Alignment System employs precision laser-engraved Grid Plates to accurately and precisely display toe. Each set of Grid Plates is custom-designed to fit the specific wheelbase of your vehicle. For instance, this design showcases the variations between a 996 and a BMW G82 GT4, demonstrating how we tailor each set. Both of these designs are based on an 18" wheel diameter. We offer generic options as well.
