Default Finally got some new wheels

Had a hard time deciding what wheels to get with my 5 lug conversion. I really didn't like the forgeline's that came on my car but those now will be used for track duty.

I ended up contacting a rennlist sponsor @Meisterwerk Racing to get a custom forged aluminum set. I really like the OEM style 997.2 GT3 wheels so I had them design it around that for 5 lug and keeping wheel weights in mind.
The fronts are 23lbs and the rears are 25.5lb. Overall I am very happy on how they came out.

Great choice! Seems like getting companies to make custom wheels is becoming more popular. A friend of mine just did that with his car. Enjoy!

Thanks Ed, we tried to get a a close to the factory color as possible which I believe is ep8 color code. This finish is a matte silver finish

That's a great looking set of wheels...congratulations to you my friend.

Being the weight weenie that I am, I ordered a custom set of forged aluminum Monoblock wheels for my Boxster S from Litespeed Racing, and I'll send you a photo of the first wheel to arrive privately. 17.2 pounds for an 18x8.5 is pretty darn good for my un-sprung weight loss goals!

Thanks Steve, that's some light wheels you bought there. I think we could have gone even further with weight savings but since I decided to keep the forgeline for track I wasn't as concerned about shaving as much weight

Thanks! The offsets that Jake at Meisterwerks chose gives it such a nice flush fitment.

definitely hard to narrow down the color during production based on the photos we had. When it comes time for repaint we'll definitely try to find a Porsche paint shop to nail the ep8 color. I think we are closer to 9a1 on the current finish
