Default Hoping for help with sourcing 4 exhaust brackets 997.1 GT3 RS

Hoping someone knows where I can source 4 half decent shape exhaust clamps for my 2007 gt3 rs 997.1

They are saying the current ones are rusted and in rough shape while installing aftermarket exhaust, but $1000 seems steep for four.

Just google "V Band" exhaust clamps and you'll get to shop from a ton of very nice clamps at a fraction of the price. Those Porsche ones are archaic. Now if oyu want to buy a set of Porsche ones, I do have a set, in amazing shape, I can sell you.

If they are intact and the threads of the bolt holes are not buggered, I'd say just re-use them. Its not like they really "wear out" unless damaged or the clamping force is compromised in some way. And if you do want to replace them eventually they are super easy to swap later if you just want to get on the road now.

Nathan, what did you decide to do. reuse your current ones? Let me know if you don't want mine so I can put them away. Don't want to have to pull down from the attic again.

I wouldn’t trust a shop that tried to tell you those were no good, let alone try sell you 4 v-bands for $1000.
