mine (XM bump) is painted to match the car,... so my question is are ALL of them painted to match the color of the car? ... or are some of them something else,... like black.
And maybe with darker cars, its a lot less noticeable. Also like Speedster911 said,... maybe its because the wing captures most of the focus (& the hips, etc etc)

all 991.2 standard colors yes painted to match
all 991.2 pts colors - black
The worst offender of the xm wart is the 992 touring since it’s on the roof and no wing
they are all terrible though
gives the car something in common with common cars which a supercar should not.

Detour ... (since you guys call another option a "wart" too...)
I'm also one who doesn't care about the dash sport chrono being there either. When I'm driving I never even notice it.
And even when just sitting and admiring the car, I actually kinda think the sport chrono breaks up an otherwise long plateau of boring upper dashboard.
So I'm also a 1%'er there too.

I can't stand the antenna wart. For a long-term buy, any audio tech that isn't timeless or reversible should be left off the build IMO.
My 981 GT4 had no wart. All US 718 GT4s have it. Hard to unsee once you notice it. Luckily you can now order without on the 718 RS.
The move is to spec antenna delete and just stream satellite via SiriusXM app on your phone.

I can’t believe how many 992 owners leave the wart ! Hard to find one without!

Looks cleaner without, but not a dealbreaker. Same with sport chrono.
I have a .1, so no XM wart.
when you’re driving you won’t notice it. 😊
When spec’ing new, I think a lot of people overlook these small details. At least back in 2007-2011 when the spec craze wasn’t happening.
When buying second hand, condition comes first. Everything else second.
