If that's the case then Pelican and FCP would not be a good vendor option as they have the ability to shut off the LRG (Lifetime Replacement Guarantee) if they sense it's being abused.

Looks like it's no longer available as of November 27, 2022.

However, I don't see it being mentioned as discontinued in here:

To answer your initial question, I'd go with Girodisc. My friends have run them and are happy with them. A friend of mine is also a dealer for them and has been happy with them too. Seem to hold up well and the ability to swap the rings and keep the hats is nice.

My only issue with them is I like the look of the OEM rotors, specifically if comparing to an older Girodisc rotor. The hats tend to turn purple on them. If they had a finish like the PCCB hats, I'd probably be sold and run them.

Pretty sure the front has Giro's on it now. There in fair shape. I may be able to replace just rotors.
But, I do like the look of stock. And not sure how much I'll actually be tracking it (although I know I will)

Again, alot of great info, thanx you guys....

Want to make a correction on my post. Girodisc reached out to me and said they corrected the hats turning purple and it's no longer an issue. So you can disregard my comment on that.

72-Vane, AP endurance rotors from Essex are my go-to. They have the smallest air-gap at 16.5mm, of the available 72-vane endurance style rotors. Brembo has a great 72-vane, 17mm air gap Heavy duty as well. The smaller the air gap, the more iron/material present to absorb and handle heat. This means the rotor will last longer and be able to dissipate heat better. For heavy, fast street cars like ours, 72-vane HD rotors are the way to go IMO.

I find it easier and more cost effective to work with Essex and their distributor network.

Iron= Brembo Type-III
Ceramic= Surface Transforms

I put these on most of clients' cars.

PM if you have any other questions.

Consider calling Aaron at KNS Brakes. He'll either have what you need or steer you in the right direction.

We have before but it depends on what you are ordering.

Do you want to PM or email?
