Love those seats. My RS came with the Profi XL's and I loved them immediately. Yes, a little bit more to get in and out, but not bad at all. I feel as ONE w the car, and have never considered anything else. I'd love to re program for the carbon seat option to shut the dash light off, but am not sure if that's possible with the 997.1 RS. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I too have eliminated the side cans from the exhaust system, and love the car, which overall is lighter by close to 100 Lbs from stock. I also have the 4.0 lt wt clutch, so the package is a delight to drive.

Happy Holidays and driving all

Go with a Pole Position Abe. The leg bolster is much lower and wider so you can relax when driving.

The Pole Position is a pretty big seat, over 2" wider in the seat area compared to the Profi SPG which is the fiberglass cousin to the Profi SPA. The Pole Position is also narrower in the shoulder area providing less support there. The SPG has lower side bolsters compared to the SPA which makes it more easier to get in and out of but the width of the seat is the same. The SPG is a seat for those up to about a 34" waist, the SPG XL is for larger guys. The Pole Position is another 1" wider than the SPG XL. It's for big dudes and would be the roomiest / most comfortable seat for long distance driving.

Do you have those CGT buckets to part with ? I’ve got the 991RoW buckets in my RS but would love to find some CGT / 997 RoW buckets for “originality” sake.

If I ever do, I will. I drove the car today and they really make the car special.

Sold the CGT seats years ago.... Honestly, worst seats I have ever owned... The 991ROW buckets are very very nice....
