When I ordered my 997.1 back in 2007, I debated back and forth between meteor and red. I went red but always wished I could own a meteor. I had a vision for a meteor car with black mirrors and black wheels. Maybe one day! Your car looks stunning, congratulations!
My GT3 got delivered this morning, the anticipation buying from a far is always a bit nerve wracking. Not so with this car, condition is like new all the way around!
Very happy with everything, especially the Sharkwerks exhuast/tune and RS flywheel. Got in a nice drive up on dry roads. Feels great to be back in a 997 GT3.
Congratulations on another new to you Porsche. Remember the 2012 TTS you had in the summer of 2018? Well it now has 69,000 miles and I am still smiling. Enjoy the GT3.
Hi,
Glad to see you are still driving your TTS, wicked fast car and so good looking.
CheeRS!
Changed out the factory fill gear fluid today in the transmission.
I have used Motul Competition 75W140 before in my 08 GT3 with great results. Car looked as expected underneath, and with the DME.
Nice to see car has RSS Adjustable rear link kit, rear adjustable toe steer kit, and RSS motor mounts. Car is exceptionally clean underneath and well taken care of.
All a bonus!
Anyone ever dry-iced your GT3? Had it done on an RS America with fantastic results. One of those totally not necessary things, but sure makes the difference in todays' market if & when one sells.
congrats. & that's quite the list of Porsche's owned!
I did dry ice blasting to my 964 Turbo 2 yrs ago. Cost was $500 per 500 lb bin of ice + labor. It took 4 bins and about 2 weeks worth of blasting. Not cheap but made a huuuuge difference on the underside.
My 997.2 / 3 is so prestine underneath that I have not considered spending that kinda money for dry ice.
@TYPE911 Awesome color on your 7.1 GT3! Where did you park on Saturday? I was just south of the dirt oval track (where Rod Emory had his cars). Safe travels back to Colorado!
