His is a .1 so no fender extenders or side markers needed. Although I'd love to have them on my .1.

Let me share some pictures first.

I thought the car was cheap. It was around $66K USD. Knowing it had been totaled in her earlier life, still I thought it was a fair price. So, I decided to pull the trigger.

This was how she looked

I thought couple more grands will be sufficient for the paint and body job but, now I ended up doing a full restoration that costs me as much as the purchasing price of the car.

Good news was, the engine and powertrain found intact during the complete overhaul. Otherwise, I might not be able to continue this project.

However, the body damage was severe, and poorly repaired. 15 pannels inside-out found damaged, and I decided to replace them all.

And, there was a deformation of the body frame that needed to be taken care of.

This device is called Car Bench and the car will be fixed up to factory specification down to mm.

Currently, we have just finished disasembleing and waiting for the sanding. It will be sanded completely to bare metal and repainted from there.

It's original color was speed yellow, and I am planning to give her own color back.

I'd love to exchange ideas on this, and any questions are welcome.

PS: sorry for the typos. Somehow the correction did not work hope it gets better next time
how’s the project?
