Default Muffler bracket support clearance issue

Feeling retarded. Can't figure out how to insert the muffler support bracket driver side past a sensor. Any clues or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Deleting with long headers would be very nice, but this poor car is in California.

view from bottom - seems to need to go aft of sensor but not enough clearance. Only forward, but that brings the lower bolts 2" too far forward.

an attempt to insert, rear, straddle, etc.

view from the top:

looks like the allen bolt for the hall sensor is just under the heat shield, so perhaps removing the heat shield and removing the sensor is the most predictable solution.

It's been a while but I'm almost sure that you have to unplug that sensor, install then plug it back in.

I don't think you have to unscrew it, just unplug it.
