Looks like Hiway 2 is messy and 9 mile is closed, So me and @RAudi Driver are going to meet at the ranger station office at the entrance of Hiway 39 Azusa Canyon at 8am and leave at 8:30 if anyone wants to go. It's on the right side of the road going up. If anyone wants my number PM me.

I was up on 39 a couple weeks ago and it was pretty clean

Caltrans posted on their IG that they expect SR 2 to remain closed through summer between Mt. Wilson road and grassy hollow campground due to rock slides and avalanches…

FYI, the Angeles Forest HWY (N3) all the way to Mt Emma road remains a good option. You can turn around at Mill Creek summit if you don’t want to go too far.

So I went at about 11am, and it was epic. Only three cars to pass the entire way up. Not a single CHP. Not that I was driving crazy.

About a mile or two the cafe racer guys set up a short run where they go up and down hauling ***. I might be able to go. I just detailed my GT3 to store it while I break in my new left knee. I could take my GTS if nothing else.
