Default Secondary air injection delete

Hi gang, has anyone been able to code out the secondary air injection subsystem? If so, what tool did you use.

thanks

During my recent round of upgrades at Dundon Motorsports, Charles removed the secondary air injection and coded out (with Porsche tool). Unfortunately, it still triggers an intermittent CEL for the secondary air injection. Codes from the COBB handheld: P0492 and P0491. Car runs great, just hate the codes. Will reinstall the secondary air injection.

Yeah those two codes basically indicate that the pump isn't providing air flow into the system at cold start (logical since there is no pump). The car should run fine since it is only relevant for cold start rapid cat warmup.

I’m sure a tuner can code those out. Have you talked to Cobb? They. May be hesitant as it’s emissions related.
