Hi, quite happy with stock Suspension but was reading about Suspension module. Which one is the most recommended for 997.2 gt3? Thank you

best and only?

i had dsc on my turbo, was great.

don’t think it’s necessary for 997.2 GT3 RS (or i would have it)

Exactly same as my experience.

997.1 TT - must have, absolutely transforms the car.

997.2 GT3/RS - practically unnoticeable.

Did you do their suspension or just the module?

I think the system tractive has is pretty innovative. They are selling a solution for the old cars where you can basically eliminate mechanical sway bars and it's all controlled electronically.

I felt it in my GT3 but not my RS… I just assume anything I spend 1500 on is better right?

I just had the module. Mind you it was practically a decade ago, so things may have changed since then, I haven't kept up. I was not aware of the full suspension option.

If we are comparing the two, the stock suspension in the 997.1 GT3/RS is pretty harsh on the road, meanwhile the 997.2 is much more refined in that regard. I've driven several hundred miles in a day on many occasions and never felt beat up in it.

In my 997.1TT the module made a huge difference. Not just over bumps, but the overall handling of the car. The 997TT is pretty heavy and under braking and turn in it just punishes the front tires and they struggle for grip. It was a night and day difference after installing the module. In the 997.2 GT3 it made very, very little difference and wasn't worth keeping it, so I sold it.

i agree on .1 vs .2 stock for stock. I’ve had ohlins on the car for so long I’ve forgotten what it feels like stock. lots stiff but so good, supple at speed and pace, very comfortable for what it is….

I felt the DSC improved the compliance. Not by a huge margin, but a noticeable margin. As someone who puts a lot of miles(~8k miles a year) on my RS, I welcomed the improvement.

My 997.1 RS responded nicely to the DSC module. Most notably in compliance over small bumps, and the anti-dive properties under hard braking. I do have the Tractive shocks, RSS Tarmac kit, GT2 sway bars (same as 997.2 GT3RS), etc., so hard to tell if just from the DSC. Make sure to add the accelerometer option if you are installing on a 997.1 model as it wasn’t added oem until the 997.2 RS models (included oem on 997.1 TT).

I feel the difference with my .2 ... it's more comfortable compare to stock. New PS4S added more comfort also.

I got it and definitely felt a difference in a .2RS.
I am also located in Switzerland in the ZH area, if you want to try the box on your car.
