Hi All - does anyone know it if is possible to source replacement perlon upholstery for CGT bucket seats? Alternatively if rips in the material can be repaired? Thanks in advance!

It seems that one could just buy Perlon fabric and then have them made. It's just a guess

Bingo! Just have a good upholstery shop use the current covers as templates.

And then have the shop make you an extra set and stuff them in the closet for the future.

Almost impossible, most complicated covers ever made. That's why Porsche selling only new cushion sets, but not the covers on seat shell itself, like they do for 993-996 style buckets.

We redone our sets at Recaro as no other upholstery shop can match such quality.

P.S. We can show you how complicated fabric from those seats looks like removed (we have a set in Perlon and in Black Leather/Alcantara).
