Hi All,
I have a project Carrera that I'm turning into a track car. I plan on upgrading all suspension/steering related hardware to GT3 hardware. I was wondering if it was worth replacing the Carrera uprights with GT3 uprights? Will it alter the suspension geometry? I have one shop saying it doesn't alter suspension geometry and the only advantage is that I can run better brakes. I have another shop saying that it drastically alters the geometry. Thoughts?

Not sure on geo but they are beefier and do allow easy brake transfer.
FYI I needed a custom ABS sensor bracket fabricated (with tight tolerance) to make the switch work on my Carrera to GT3 uprights. This was from 997.1 C2 to 997.2 GT3. It’s not bolt on.

Easy question to answer… check the control arm part numbers. My gut says that it prob makes little change to the rear and major change to the front.
But just check
