Always nice to see the 997.2 RS 4.0 recognized as the all-time great 911 that it is. I'm sure the Cayman GT4 RS is a sensational car, but something about the 997 era of 911 just put it right at the top of the heap for guys like me. Great video!

Have all 3 and will pick the 3.8 any day I'm looking for a challenge.
4.0 is dress to impress. Absolutely minimal marginal benefit over a properly sorted 3.8, at least for me.
GT4RS... is just there to win the C&C championship.
To each his own...

Thanks for posting Rickman. I hope you still own your 997 4.0.
To my eyes, the 997 design is timeless. Doesn't look dated whatsoever. And of course the engine (all Mezgers) is legendary. Really like the Cayman too. I think having a Cayman with PDK would be a nice addition to owning a manual GT3.

He tried to be neutral and imply both cars were equally fantastic, but anyone watching the video knows actions speak louder than words.
He could barely talk, couldn’t stop smiling while driving the 997. Just reinforces what everyone in this section already know….
