Coolant / temp indicator failure 997 GT3

Hey guys, this morning I randomly got a “coolant/temp indicator failure” driving to work. Anyone know the cure? Is it fine to still drive? Temp sensor?

What are the details on your issue? Any codes? It could be the change-over valve issue, the one that controls the disc valve on the transmission:
