Default Cf trim below handbrake removal


Hello all not sure this is the right place to post this but I’m having trouble removing that cf trim in the image. I’ve tried prying with tools, using my hands etc and no luck. Its really on there and I damaged some of the cf unfortunately.

the piece has a crack in it which is why I want to replace it. Just cant get it off. Thx!

The back piece that you don't have covered in tape should be removed by simply sliding it off. The handle has glue on it. You may need pliers. See instructions below:

to anyone of interest, i tried multiple different things and in the end, i just tried sliding it off extremely hard and it worked. its possible me prying it before loosened it up but this was not easy haha
