We ordered this carbon fiber center console unit, including the banana and the ashtray, last year from DB Carbon in Germany. It just came in recently and we sold the car it was ordered for. Console is in perfect condition (duh, it's new) other than a scratch on the rear of it that you will not see when installed as it will be covered by the seat. DB Carbon is oem-quality fit and finish. It does have the cutout for the passenger airbag light.
$3000 plus shipping. Yes that's more than list price. There's this thing called supply chain issues....we can ship this TODAY.

No. DBCarbon is similar to MACarbon. They're an aftermarket company. DBCarbon has a lifetime warranty on their products. The OEM carbon is known for cracking.

So far no cracks on mine. However, both the ash tray cover and the cup holder trim are starting to warp and delaminate. My local dealership quoted about $1,500 to replace those pieces.
The quality of the DB Carbon looks on par with the OEM.

Yes, delamination is an issue with them, along with cracking.
I read on here that Porsche was changing their supplier for carbon to hopefully avoid these issues. But the genuine Porsche carbon is more expensive and I didn't want to deal with those issues so I went with DB carbon.
That is true, and MACarbon will lay the cupholder trim carbon down rotated 45 degrees so the carbon weave makes a “diamond” pattern just like OEM. FWIW, I have carbon pieces from both companies and am happy with both — they also match.
