Default 997 GT3 front splitters .1 v .2

Hi There,

I have a modified 997.1 gt3 running a cup front splitter, and Although the car is modified it’s running standard ride height(but more camber) and it’s grounding too much. Current splitter is a month old and already damaged. So I would like to run the front splitter off the 997.2 RS as it looks less deep, and I like the way it rolls out towards the wheels.

I am ordering from Porsche in Australia and they cannot give me a definitive answer, does anyone know if there are issues swapping front splitters between .1 and .2?

thanks in advance, cheers Stu

The bumpers are shaped totally different. I don't think it's a perfect fit. Far from it from what I can tell.

.2 cup splitter fits 2010+ street cars and supposedly the early and late cup cars. What do you mean by "I have a modified 997.1 gt3 running a cup front splitter"?

The .2 splitters are designed only for the .2 bumpers. The PMNA 7.1 cup splitters are relatively cheap so it helps to stock up on them and just treat them as a consumable. Order multiple at a time to save on shipping

This is what I saw, is it incorrect?

Thanks guys, yes the existing cup splitter I am using is this - 99750598391- and yes they are about 1/2 price of a std splitter but also 25mm lower - so whilst great on a smooth track - doesnt like my driveway - or any serious road dips. I really don’t like the look of the Std .1 gt3 splitter 99750598394 - so fancied swapping it to the .2 RS splitter. And when you look at the front spoilers on .1 and .2 they look different above the lip line, but the same line and shape below. Hence the ask.
sounds like it’s not going to work though. Drat. Thanks anyhow - really appreciate the support - Stu

Stuart, go buy one and give it a shot. If it doesn't work, sell it to one of the members.
