There is quite a difference in price but from my experience test driving a 2007 911 my 2016 Miata was on par. Anyway how does the 2020 Porsche Turbo compare to a 2020 Miata? If you haven't driven a Miata year they are a blast!

I haven't driven a newer Miata but have driven an older one a few years back. They're fun but not on par with my old s2000. Comparing to the 911 is very interesting to say the least and to actual cross shop these two cars is even more peculiar. Like others, I'd like to understand your line of thought OP.

Mc Laren F1, Miata, or a Moped? When cross shopping things that are so fundamentally different, only you can decide. All three can get you from point A too point B. The rest is all personal taste, values, and means.

The 911 is actually a practical car that you can use every day. Small back seats that can carry kids or an adult in a pinch. Good front size trunk.

The miata also is not without purpose. It is the perfect car to go crusing around looking for your local glory hole establishments.

This is the GT forum.... not the turbo forum. Without driving the 2020 turbo, I'd say I would probably rather have the miata than a modern 4x4 911 (especially if I had to pay for them). I wouldn't trade my GT3 for a fleet of miatas, the size worthy of tribute to putin himself.
