Default FS: 996/997 Control Motorsports PU transmission mounts

Just clearing out a few things from my parts bin. This is a pair of Cantrell Motorsports PU transmission mount bushings. These replace the rubber OEM bushings that fail over time. Great mod for track use to make shifting more precise especially under load and to help prevent a $$ shift. I used these bushings for a little bit and they worked great, zero complaints. I switched to full hard mounts, hence the sale. I also have a spare OEM mount cradle for these to install into. Great for those that don't want to go to the trouble of pressing out the old bushing and cutting out the aluminum sleeve.

PU bushings: $95
Mount cradle: $75
Bushing/cradle deal: $150
Shipping/insurance: $20

Buyer responsible for any PayPal fees....

Thanks for looking..

Hi John,

What do you think about the full hard mounts?

Thanks

Everything on my car is hard mounted but it's a track only. Probably not something you'd want on a street driven car however. If trailered track car, than yes...

Those mounts are the last bits of rubber on my car. I have see the Cup car pars get torn up, what are you using for a mount?

Hi Ray,
The Cup trans mounts are a weak link and crack frequently due to their design. I’m using the CTSR solid mounts which consists of CNCd aluminum bushings that install into the OEM aluminum cradle. The solid bushings have a threaded center section on both sides that tightens down onto the gearbox mounting block. The OEM bolts then tighten everything down. There is a locking feature that prevents anything from loosening. It’s a really trick set up and unlike the Cup mount, effectively fail proof. I’ll post up a picture of it when I get back in town if you want.

I just found a pic of the early prototype version of the CTSR mount. The current mount has the new locking bushing feature along with a few other tweaks. You get the idea though.
