Any 997.1 GT3 owners purchased either Zunsport or Rennline grill inserts for their cars. I have been considering them and have only see the Zunsports installed on a 997.2 TT, and am hoping some members can post a few images to aid in my decision. I would also like to know what you think of product quality, ease of install, etc.
I have plenty of pics of my car, but no great pics of the grills specifically and my car is currently in storage. Best one I have I'll post below. Previous owner had them installed, so I don't know about the ease of install. Product quality seems great. I would have thought they were a factory part the quality is so high.
At some point I should do mine and fyi I was going to go with rennline. I watched their install video and it looks like they are secured with clips that you then screw on to keep them in place. doesn't look like any other drilling needed. Zach can probably tell you more since he has done it 3 times.
So after seeing this pic, I think these are the grills installed on my car - screen material pattern looks very similar. I am planning on removing the bumper this winter as there is tons of crap in my radiators - leaves, pine needles, and track trash.
What intrigues me about the Zunsport is the flexibility to clean the radiators without bumper removal.
Went with the Cargraphic. Hopefully they have changed the design since I purchased as it did not come with instructions and only came with adhesive for installing. I wound up drilling holes and screwing it in to the ducts.

No drilling for Rennline. They are attached with the clips/screws shown in Belinko's pics above. The only challenge is that when reinstalling the bumper cover, you need to make sure that the radiator ducts find their way into the bumper trim channels, which are also where the Rennline clips/screws are attached. Getting it right just takes some patience/adjustments. YMMV.
Zunsport on my 2012 997 Turbo. Easy install, no bumper removal. Even though they are in the UK, they were very responsive and timely on fulfilling the order.
Both look great. From research it appears you need to drill 3 holes but don't have to remove the bumper to install the Zunsport and you don't have to drill holes in your bumper but instead remove the bumper with the Rennline.
Hate the thought of drilling holes in the bumper. Does anyone have a sense of how much time it takes to remove the bumper/install or what it would cost to have installed?

I don't remember drilling any holes for the Zunsport grills.
