Question 997-2 GT3RS Right Side Oil Leak - Help Needed

After a drive yesterday I noticed my rear bumper was coated in oil spray. When I looked underneath the car the right side was quite wet. I took a few things off the top of the motor to investigate and found a puddle next to the intake manifold of Cylinder 4, right below the fuel rail. I'm having a really hard time figuring out where the leak is coming from. Any ideas?

I know the power steering reservoir and lines are right there, but this is definitely motor oil, not hydraulic fluid...

Thanks!

Look like its been going on a while. Might be your oil/water heat exchanger or one of the lines, it is in that (right side) area.

I think I may have found the culprit. The oil seems to becoming out of the intake solenoid. I'm going to replace parts 21 and 22 of the diagram below. I think those seals have failed.

Question is, do I need to lock the cams prior to pulling the actuator?

I've been busy with work and haven't had a chance to play with the car much, but just wanted to update the thread in case this happens to anyone else...

The leak was caused by a loose actuator bolt as it turns out. I pinpointed the source, it was coming from the actuator, #20 in the above diagram and I figured I needed a new seal. When I started unbolting the actuator I realized that one of the bolts (#23) wasn’t tight. Not even finger tight. Fully loose. No wonder oil was gushing out of there. I cleaned it up, put some loctite, and tightened it back on. Went for a drive. No oil leak.

As my buddy said, 8500 RPM must have some harmonic effects...

Nevermind, reread you used loctite…

Yep, I did. Had a lot of cleaning and degreasing to do before I applied it, hopefully it sticks
