I'm going to install the Rennline rear tie downs on my .2 RS. Does anyone know the torque spec for the factory bolt and nut? Locltite Blue?/

i would have to check but i think it's a m12 and approx 80ft lbs

Guessing it's one of these bolts? I am not the best with identifying all of the various bolts under the car. If you know specifically what it is called, I can likely get you the number. Ngng is much better with the mechanical stuff and has the same documents I believe, so he'll likely be able to provide it later on.

it shouldn't really matter there, if you notice the bolts are rated by their size. so i'd just pull the bolt and measure the diameter. i suspect it's the m12

Thanks for the responses. I checked some older threads and they mention M12 X 1.5. "cross member to side frame". If so, 81.5 ftlbs. I'm assuming that is what it is.. I Borrowed a better picture from another thread so you can see the area I'l talking about. Please let me know if you think it's correct or incorrect.

Location is correct - that's where I have mine. I can't remember the tq specs that I used but I found them on RL also.
