Default P0139 code CEL

Hi, my post cat O2 sensor failed and I have a CEL. Can I still drive (aggressively) until the new sensor arrives?

are you sure the sensor failed? Do you have a completely stock exhaust setup?

I ask because I was getting a P0430 (right Bank 2) CEL - it started appearing right after I installed a Sharkwerks center bypass.

Per the advice of 997 GT3 Rennlisters, I bought a small O2 sensor port extension to move the sensor outward.

FWIW, I have a Sharkwerks center delete on my 997.1 GT3, no O2 extenders and have never had a CEL. I have not looked for pending codes however.

Not saying it won't help on your car, but not needed on mine.

I am the 4th owner (.2 RS), and a center bypass was installed by the 1st. Owners 2 and 3, said that they never saw a the 430 CEL (or any codes). It started when I got it (~8500 miles). My 1st step was to change the rear O2 sensors, no help. The O2 extender has worked so far (maybe 200 miles). It passed my states inspection (no CEL).

Stock exhaust but the ac compressor leaked and spat out coolant everywhere, thinking this maybe was the cause of the failure. New one due to arrive Monday so I’m holding off driving till then
