997 GT3RS Bull Market?
I got my 2008 GT3RS this past December and after seeing the market skyrocket I am contemplating what to do with it. The car is a clean title with no accidents and has just about 21,000 miles on the odometer. The only modifications are a sharkwerks center muffler bypass, control arm assembly pieces from the cup car and a harness cage in the back. The car also has carbon brakes and has a pretty clean over rev report (no stage 3s and hasn't had any in the other ranges in a couple of years from what I can remember). What do you guys think the car is worth if I were to sell it and do you recommend holding for a couple years? It's an example that is ready to be driven and as these continue to climb in value I think drivers examples will become rarer and rarer. I also think I'd be hard pressed to replace it with something that really is as close to as good / fun for under 200k. Where do you see the market going in 3-5-10 years? I would probably put around 3-4k miles on this beast annually until the day I sell it so factor that in to the depreciation.
Thanks to anyone who can give me more incite on this!

If you like your car and you want to drive it, keep it. If you don't think you're going to drive it or get enjoyment out of it due to the increase in prices and thinking about that, then sell.
I could use the cash more than I could a car that I drive 1-2k miles a year. Seriously. I could break even right now on my purchase (I factor in all maintenance which I did a lot of that wasn't needed but wanted to make the car as good as I could, insurance, storage, etc.). I am not selling though because I really do like the car. Now if someone wanted to offer me some ridiculous number, then sure, I'd sell. But I'd rather make the memories with friends, family and other enthusiasts while I'm able to.
I sat in enough hospitals and doctors offices a few years back as a patient and consistently saw some very sick people. I try and realize that there's more to life than your net worth and cash in the bank. Experiences (whether vacations, drives, talks with enthusiasts, etc.) are important. We're all heading to the same place, so may as well enjoy if you're able to, along the way.

I would sell that thing in a heart beat. Most people don't even drive these any longer and use them for an investment. I think the time to make your money and run is now. When the spending spree is over these will quickly drop back down into the $150's where they were trading for the last several years. My speculation of course.

If you need or want the $ sell. Good time for it.
If you love the car keep it.
Hard to say about the future but I am very concerned about what the brainless wonder in the Whitehouse is doing. Not good.

Go have fun with the car and look to something else for your passive income.
edit: just realized you have orange graphics and the BAT car has black on black.

I think it depends on how long you may keep the car. If you think maybe you are going to keep it for 3-5 years, I would sell it now. In my opinion, these high prices are due to inflation. Prices are up for all luxury items across the board. The fed is claiming they have control of the situation so hopefully they do. Anyways, if inflation goes down soon, then the prices of these will most likely too. I do not believe we are quite in the bubble like some of the aircooled cars are. Could totally be wrong about this though.
Now if you are thinking of keeping the car for ~10 years, I'd say hold on it. These limited edition watercooled 997s are high benchmarks for the modern 911s. They may eventually become what the 70-90s aircooled cars are.

I got mine for such a great price I could make an easy 80k off it right now. In fact, the day after I bought it I took it to a friend's Porsche shop, he offered me what i Paid +60k on the spot.
I can't do it. This has been a dream car of mine and I drive it. A lot! Lots of dead bugs on my bumper and my car is pretty dirty right now. They way they should be!
