Default Broken front wheel carrier. Help please

Well today turned to **** real quick. Went to install some ohlins coilovers on my 997.1 and the upon torquing to spec it decided to explode. Having a hell of a time finding info on part. Original part number is 997.341.657.93 (no where to be found). In the PET catalog it shows 997.341.157.93 for left front wheel carrier. Local porsche dealer wasn't confident ordering part. He also stated none in stock in US or germany. My understanding these are 996 gt3rs with updated 997 number?

Any leads on this part or best parts dealer to deal with?

That's pretty unusual to have the casting crack like that. Probably better in your garage vs. on the track I suppose... I've had pretty good luck w/ Sonnen Porsche (now Marin Porche) in the past. They show this for P/N 997.341.157.93

Prob would need to call to see how long it would take to arrive.

It turns out the wheel carrier is on back order until 3rd quarter of this year..... There is not a new to be found anywhere. UGH. Search continues.

thats a bummer.
Keep in mind there were 2 carriers for the 997.1. Those with pccb and those without pccb
the .1 pccb may not be exact same part as .2 but allows the 380mm calipers spacing and rotor offsets.

did you ever find out the difference between the 997.341.657 and the 997.341.157?
