Default 996 Turbo RMS - Noise

Hi Everyone,
For those of you that have installed the 996 Turbo RMS (part number: 999-113-426-41) in your 997 GT3, was a new noise present after install? I originally described it as a hollow sound, such as setting down a plastic cup. But a hollow chirping noise as described in the thread below is probably more accurate. My shop is well experienced in Mezgers (they had a 997 Turbo and 997 GT3 in for work while mine was in), so I have confidence in their work. The seal I had previously was the 997 GT3 seal (284.930 or 997-102-264-91) with updated spacer ring (997-101-264-90). It leaked, so they offered to install a fresh seal under warranty and recommended the Turbo RMS.

More info can be found in this thread, along with the noise itself:

In post 22, Charles at Dundon mentioned that it is air passing by the seal. However, the seal is not leaking anymore, so I am unsure of how air could be making it's way past and causing this noise, but there is no more leak. Is there any concern with leaving it? Should I have it replaced again but with the 997 GT3 seal and deal with the oil leak? Any other ideas what could be causing it would be appreciated. I'm having my shop take a listen in a couple weeks as well.

Thanks!

I would not feel comfortable with air getting in. Might aeriate the oil, which is never good.

This is a dry sum motor, very little oil in the crankcase, really nothing to aerate

I realize that as I change my oil every 6 months. Although a ton comes out of the tank, there is still a nice amount that drains out of the crankcase.. I would not allow air to enter thru the seal.
