Default Super annoying AMP Blue electrical connector on my 997

Maybe I am just an idiot, but has anybody else experienced an AMP replacement in their 997? There is is awful blue connector pin that somehow slides in to lock.

I got it off, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to hook up my new AMP. Is there a trick to this? It's not very apparent.

Any help is appreciated. You can bash me for being an idiot all you like!

Just figured it out. There's some sliding mechanism that you have to release, and then it pushes it in while you slide it. Not self explanatory!!
