I see. It may have been an isolated event. I haven’t heard much of any other 3.6 with that issue. I spoke to my Porsche mechanic, which he is very knowledgeable of these engines and he said that the 3.6 does not have this issue.

“Does not” is a bit strong. It has been less of an issue with 3.6 than with 3.8.
