Does anyone know if these seats fit the 997.1 GT3’s and RS cars. They are advertised as 996 and Boxster/Cayman seats. I saw a set of these mounted in a 997.1 RS in a pic recently and thought they look amazing. I wonder how tight they are? Anyone seen these in an early RS?

I had a set of Perlons w Crest in my 6-3, but we’re different than these.

Any opinions or knowledge is quite welcome.

So here is the pic I saw. These look different, and I prefer the ones w the Crest in the post above. What do you all think. Will the 996 seats bolt right in or are there differences between the 2 models related to mounting?

Not sure about being 997 seats. I've been on the search for some for my 996 GT3. What are they asking for those?

 

Those are 996 but fit 997, have to code out the airbags, had those in my old EVT750 turbo

 

The seats in the first post are Euro 996 GT3 seats. They will fit n the 997. I have them in my 997.2 GT3 and think they are great. Super supportive and very light.

Did the 997 version ever come with the Porsche Crest stitched in like the 996 version?

 

The second pic you posted are CGT seats, but I don't recall ever seeing a set with the Porsche crest though.

There's also the GT2 carbon buckets that came in Perlon, but they do not have the Porsche crest

 

I had the 996 seats in my 996GT and now have the CGT in my 997RS. Both are beautiful seats, I do feel the 996 is a more comfortable seat for longer journeys and holds slightly better for track. As others have said, they will fit in your .1RS

997 ROW Clubsport Seats in Perlon never had the crest in headrest. Only if they came in leather did they have the crest.

 

996 Euro clubsport seats fits right in 997.1 GT3, and looks really good as well :-D.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Happy to see that either pair work, and I see that the 996 version look just fine in the 997.1...Great photo's Runet!!! Wow, they look great in the cabin of your 7-3. Where did you find those bolster protectors? Those are perfect and def work to protect the side fabric as one enters and exits the seats. Fantastic idea.
