Someone may have already bought it before it was even listed or the dealer is not fast at getting cars listed. PTS 4.0’s rarely ever come up for sale and collectors will probably be all over them when one has a hint of coming up for sale.

I need to stay off the 997 forum until it's gone or I'll change my mind. I've threatened to sell it 2-3x before.

you're gonna regret selling - especially at that price.

Viv, stop it!!!

Man, if not for being bitten by CGT fever, I'd agree with you. I KNOW I'm selling a near term low though; I agree with that for sure.

The CGT noise will make all pain go away!
But you’ll miss the 997 4.0 3RS.

I had recently toyed with idea of selling mine. Talked to a few interested people, but just couldn’t make the decision to do it.

Mine is a full stripper. No lift, basic lights, no radio. Just to special to let go.

I've come close 2-3x; I'm gonna actually follow thru this time. I have LOVED my time with it. It's the ultimate 911. I've just had my fun and on to other stuff. But for most of the time I owned it, I assumed I'd keep it forever. That was the intention.

That was exactly my thinking lately. I had always thought it was a keeper and felt like it was time to move on. But then as I talked with people about it and drive it a few more times I shifted back into keeping it. What buyers wanted to offer and what I thought I might replace it with just didn’t end up being compelling enough.

Maybe it swings back the other way in the future, who knows. It took me 10 years to consider it, maybe it takes another 10 year to do it.
