Keep or Sell 997.2 GT3 and 911-50
Curious what everyone thinks:
I have a 911-50 (pdk) and a 997.2 GT3, both of which I love for different reasons. However I don't drive either one as often as I'd like and am considering selling one of them. But I worry I'll regret it one day if I do.
What's your experience with holding onto a 911 long enough that it's value declines and then rises again?
Two beauties in the garage

The 997 GT3 will always be desirable. The 50 Year is more of just a marketing example of what Porsche wants you to think is desirable. I'm sure it's a great car, don't get me wrong... but it's no Mezger GT3.
I say keep them both.
I say keep them both.

Keep the 997 gt3 no matter what.
However I regret selling my 996 40th AE when I purchased my 997 GT3. It was a great reliable and comfortable DD. Do you daily drive another car? I imagine the 50th AE is an even better DD. If you DD the 50th keep both

I recently sold my 997 GT three and replaced it with a 997.1RS but also I am selling my 911/ 50th out of the garage, probably one of the nicest 991 vatiants as a touring model, plenty fast but I just don’t see the value will hold as strong as they are especially when they’re going to introduce a 60th I’m sure. The heritage package for the new Targa has a lot similar design elements that I am sure they will carry into future special additions with that being said however, there are only 1963/50th’s in the world with 599 delivered to the United States....

Of the two cars, I'd suggest selling the 50 as well if you're only planning to get rid of one. After all, PDK is better suited to daily use and you've admitted you're not using either car that often. In terms of selling the 997.2 GT3 I'd say unless you're planning to sell both cars for a single replacement to hold onto it as they are just about perfect! Best wishes of course, and keep us posted.

Engine alone gives the win to the 997 in my opinion. The new M2 CS looks pretty interesting.
