Default 997.2 GT3 RS Contrasting Color Black

I know the usual decal colors are red (510) and white gold metallic (511), but I seem to recall seeing some with black decals. Are those factory? What code specifies black decals?

My PTS Guards Red 7.2 has black decals along with a black DZL package. Grill, mirrors, wheel. I have seen a PTS Mexico Blue 7.2 also with black decals and a Black DZL package. Maybe they only come with the DZL package? Others may chime in.

They are factory but as Mr Adair mentioned they are custom ordered. There are a number of cars with different colored graphics, some also with wing end plates and mirrors and wheels to match, but not all. They are some version of the DZ(x) customization package.

A lot of people have also changed the graphics after the fact and installed black ones, which is cool too, but the way to know what is factory is to look at the build sheet.

As Doug notes, each one of these cars are little bit different in how they go about customization. I think it can vary from dealer to dealer in how the orders are input and how the factory is categorizing them at the time. Here is mine. It's interesting to see these, especially from 2011. Doug, is custom color noted for $5500 different than Color to Sample which is noted as "0" because Gaurds Red it's essentially a color palette that they already have? Also, the thick wheel is the coolest of all options IMO

Thx. It's a pretty special car. All credit goes to Doug at Switchcars for finding it. Wish it had PCCB's like yours but oh well, the added bonus is of course less wear and tear on the carbon discs if I ever do a track day or two and not having to live with yellow calipers on a red car. On any other car yellow calipers work just fine especially like yours. But I can't stomach the ketchup and mustard effect of yellow calipers on a red car. Can't do it. Noticed you have black end plates on your wing. Was your car a DZL package as well? Is it a gray black one? Black decals on that car look ****.

Lipstick/mirrors/end plates were wrapped and wheels were painted to match. Robust 167 build but no DZL 😕

Going back to graphics this week.

No one posted any pics for reference. Crazy expensive option but I feel it makes a perfect combo for the stealth look, if that’s even possible with a RS

I think it's the best combo. Maybe the AQ and white Gold too but I love black on black grey..

My 997.2RS came with full black contrast from
Exclusive Manufaktur. RS decals, cage, wheels, mirrors, lipstick and endplates.

Your RS is awesome. That’s the first black on White I have ever seen! It’s beautiful. Do you think it’s one of one? 👍

Thanks. I have only seen ONE US car with same factory black/white spec, but it has PCCBs and, (I think) sofa seats, no cage / harnes and also no lexan rear window. (...so not really an RS, cough.... )
I have not seen other RoW/Europe cars so far.

Wait, so that’s a ROW car (LeCannes, Clubsport cage etc.) here in the state’s? My car is a 1 of 5 and I have duplicated a ROW car with Clubsport cage but no Lexan yet.
