i have driven 991RS, 981 GT4, 987 Spyder, 991.2 GT3 all nice but boring after some time.
997.2 RS is a different league from driving experience, never get boring!

Thanks for posting this. I too have the same affliction. I start to get bored, notice little things in the driving that aren't "just right" etc... When I drive the RS my heart literally quickens. I know that sounds a bit daft but it's true. I don't know if any of you have ridden horses spiritfully but the experience is somewhat the same. The 7.2 RS feels like it wants to lunge ahead, goading you to push the throttle open and the engine revs into those higher ranges. Wild. Sobering. Refreshing.

Just extremely little history. It started off in PA, then exported up to PEI Canada and then finally out west here.
On examination, the paint is 96% with the exception of a couple of small chips on the driver's door edge and the checker-board decals having some rash, then a weird small tear on the inside outer vertical bolster of the driver's seat, and a Napa battery with dust and crap in the battery compartment. No sign of cut carpet in the back to indicate a track cage instal. Everything is fixable...
DMI is 100%
Paint thicknesses check out as per factory
Blows a bit of oil smoke on start up typically of some of these.
On a good-spirited "test drive" (more like a spirited ROMP) it drivers superbly. It's a ripper.
That's pretty much it. They'll put a new OME battery in it, new set of PS4's (need those for a bit of rain we have here), fix the seat, and give it a 2-year CPO.
I'm afraid it's got itself worked into my soul...

^^^^ whole heartedly agree, 991/981 gen cars are super capable and fast, almost too fast for regular road use, where 997/987 cars are plenty fast enough and YOU are way more involved in driving experience as well as being more fun at normal speeds. IMHO these previous gen cars make you a better driver as they force you to more often consider the physics of driving to be able to exploit/explore limits of the car while at the same time making each drive a much more rewarding/thrilling experience.

GT3RS
Driven 996-991.2 GT3 and various RS variants. The only 2 cars that still makes my hand shake after a intense run is the 996.2 GT3 and 997.2 GT3/RS. The entire car vibrates this energy to you that no other car gives you.
GT2 cars only shock me in horrific speed and liveliness, which I am totally in love with too, but doesn't transmit the same feel for sure a the 3s!
