2010 gt3 buying advice
Hey Guys. Looking for some info / opinions.
I am looking at a 2010 997 gt3 with 73k miles. Black paint, PCCB brakes and leather.
Car has great service record from a good shop in CA. Very clean Carfax and one owner. Has seen a little track time but swears it was not racing, just exercising in a safe environment.
Only concerns with it are TPMS sensor, and the hood (or bonnet) has a hard time popping ( took a few tries when I was there). One thing I noticed was out of the right tailpipe it burnt a little oil on startup, but cleared up right away.
I'm asking to see if there are any experienced gt3 guys here that can chime in on the mileage, if anything I mentioned is anything to be worried about, what kind of value you would place on it, if there is anything I am overlooking and my biggest question is what would a car with this kind of mileage be worth.
I am new to the Porsche world
Please feel free to PM me if bin or pictures would help get me pointed in the right direction.
Thank you for any help and constructive comments.
Edit- Thank you guys, have a deal made and going to start the steps to get it into my life

TPMS sensors are common. No issue there. I have not heard of any hood issues in the past but that could be an actuator or something simple if you did not hear the motor engage.
As far as oil burning, if you are referencing some blue smoke at startup, that is somewhat common on these cars after they have been sitting. I would not let that concern you.
Get a DME readout, which is where they tell you how high above 9,000 RPM the engine has seen. Only happens with mis-shifts on the 997 GT3 cars as redline is 8400.
A paint meter readout can give you an idea if the car has undisclosed body or paint work that isn’t on Carfax like if there was an on track incident.

What would probably be best is if you post a range of what he is asking and we can tell you if that is fair. Switchcars has one they are selling with 60k miles for $88k but it also has a lot of upgrades. I am guessing low to mid $80s for the one you are looking at.

Had my TMPS sensors replaced at the dealer last year on top of the 40k service. $176/sensor less 10% for PCA discount plus $374 labor, $1008 total. Wish I replaced them under CPO warranty which expired the previous year.

73K miles, track time, PCCB's, my first red flags. IMO you should check the condition of the PCCB's, they might be near/at replacement time which could be upwards of $10K.

The entire track time pccb thing is overblown. Worse case you replace the ccbs with steel. That's what most of the real track guys do eventually.....
