Cross-drilled rotors crack easily with high temperature cycles—like you get with high-performance driving. This is because, with each heat cycle, the metal expands and then contracts. With cross-drilled rotors, this means all of those little holes and the edges get cracks in them very easily with high-performance driving.

Use blanks or slotted rotors if you are tracking your car, your rotors will last much longer.
