Its funny when I was shopping for a well prepped track car last year I passed over the RL ad for a 2010 Guards Red GT3 because I was sure I didn't want red. I kept going back to the ad and the car was just set up too nicely and the owner was a really good guy so I pulled the trigger. The car arrived a week or so later and I absolutely love the color, it just works so well on a GT3.

Congrats on your new to you GT3.

Yeah it's interesting because when my wife and I were shopping for a GT3 (we were also looking at 996s), I mentioned that I found a red 997 GT3 (only 997.2 GT3 here in Slovenia) and she was like "Nooooo, anything but a red Porsche!". I said "just you wait" and I was correct - when we saw it in person, we were both instantly in love!

Such a wonderful color!

Beautiful GT3. My previous car was a used guards red carrera cab. I thought a red sports car was a bad idea but I loved that color. Received tons of compliments. Found the color did a good job of hiding dust and minor paint blemishes. It's such a classic Porsche 911 color.

We were on our first track day with the car this Sunday at Salzburgring (Austria). It was a bit crowded but this was one of the fastest (recorded) laps.

Enjoy!

That's how you do it. The car was in it's element as Porsche intended!

Thanks! Yeah it's such a great on track and it'd be a shame not to use it properly!
