Greetings-

On my Audi, I had success using the mirror tap system to get power for my windshield mounted escort. This is the type that wires right into the harness around mirror or lighting or garage door buttons. It doesn't require running a wire to the fusebox in driver's footwell. I see they make a kit for the 997.2 gt3 as well. In searching here and the interweb I was a bit surprised to find so few DIY's on 997.2 cars. However, I did find these helpful threads. Does anyone have any other sources, or comments on these DIY's?
