Default My turn

After many years of contemplating, research, and waiting for the "right time" I finally got my GT3. The car was previously owned by at least one other RL'er. I got it from Jonathan and Burt at Merit Partners. The entire MP team did a fantastic job. I went down to look at it prior to sale, but in retrospect I didn't need to, it was as advertised. The guys at MP and Perimeter did some maintenance, new tires and corrected an issue found on the PPI. Since it's arrival I have been enjoying it on the backroads of the Black Hills of South Dakota. I also joined some fellow Porsche enthusiasts for the PCA Dakota Chapter Run for the Hills event last weekend. It was great to meet a few people with common interests and I am looking forward to many other Porsche events in the future.

Thanks to all on this forum for your insight. I have learned a lot, well before actually taking the plunge. Hats off to Burt and Jonathan at Merit Partners, they delivered a great buying experience. Now I just need to figure what to do with my E46 M3; it's obviously in a lesser league then the GT3, but still a great car, and my first love. Here are some pics...

Tony

Congrats on your first 911 and a clean GT3 at that! I'm not surprised you had a great experience at Merit. Class guys that are true enthusiasts that run a great business. I'm in MN and have been on some of those roads you were on. Great part of the country as long as you stay clear of guys riding over their heads on HD's! Enjoy in good health.

Great purchase. I too came from an E46 M3. Keep both if you can. M3 for daily driving because it has more space. Gt3 for weekend driving. Enjoy
