Default Foldable GT2 Buckets near Knoxville, TN?

I am looking at ordering some GT2 foldable buckets to put in my 991. I have never seen them in person or sat in them. I would really like to sit in them and see how much support they have. Also need to see where the harness pass through holes come to on me. Is anyone within an hour and half of Knoxville, TN that would let me check them out for 5 minutes. Would really appreciate it! Thanks!

You may want to post this in the 997 forum as well as the Cayman forum just in case. Some guys have them in those cars too.

Keep in mind they are very comfortable to sit in for most people, although some people find them to be a bit too upright. I find the position perfect. Getting in and out for some is a challenge but again, shouldn’t be a big issue. The only thing that keeps me from buying a set is how high they sit. I normally have inches of headroom but with those my head touches the ceiling. Looks like I need the Carrera GT/GT3 ROW seats which are basically a fortune.

Best of luck.

Having just swapped a set of carbon buckets into my 2008 GT2 (which was born with sofa seats), I can confirm that they do sit a bit higher than the sofas, which is a bummer. They are more upright for sure, but I like that type of driving position so it's never been a problem for me.

Really interested in where the pass throughs for harness come to on me. I am 5’10 180lbs and broad shoulders. Also, the bolster support they have for track use.
