That video is EPIC! So many of us feel the same way but he did a phenomenal job of putting it into words. I loved it.

definitely worth watching again.

LOL - "it's VERY easy to turn this car around,.... NO problem". hahaha,... love that accent when he's saying that too.

thanks for the re-post. Exactly what I needed after a long day at work.

... and this one was good too.... not a 997,... but from 11min to 16min, he talks at length to the manual. Well said. .. and I'm just a manual freak.

Notice the piano started to play when he discusses PDK vs Manual. Classic.

Just listen to the difference in cabin sound between the 991.2 video from 11:16 - 11:34, and the 997.1 video at 9:52 - 10:00. Both are stock exhaust

To me the 997.1 M97 just sounds more mechanically mature, the 991 MA series sounds like there ***** have not dropped yet....

I'm right there with ya guys. The raspy raw, just plain angrier sound of the Mezger is what puts the goose bumps on my arms every time I compare what I hear between the 2 generations.

.... and it doesn't work to just compare them as they're idling past from a Cars & Coffee either. Full song is where its at. And I only have a couple friends with 991 GT3RS', with just a few times where we've been together and the comparison happened in real time.
{(... and that's also why I chose the Sharkwerks over the RSS, since most of the RL guys on here said the RSS gives a smoother cleaner more exotic sound. I want a nasty bark)}

FLT6SPD, so funny on the ***** not dropping yet. Perfect.

... although "mechanically mature" may not be the best description for me, as the new engines do sound smoother, cleaner,... almost as if they have a better fuel burn (or slightly "less" compression). But that's also EXACTLY why I love the Mezger,... as well as my angry Big Block Chevy 396/375 M21 too. They're just mean.
