As a 991 owner and a wanna be 7RS future owner at what point does a car like this become attractive? I am not actively seeking this car and I know that it’s better to buy the best you can afford. I am more curious as to the buy point on an example like this that has been repaired or is it avoid at all cost? Cheers

$112k is getting pretty close IMO. I would happily pay $100k knowing I might put another $25k into it. This is assuming you don't care about resale value though and you just want a driver that you will keep for awhile. If you care about the value, save for a no damage car.

I’ve been lurking on this forum for a while, soaking up as much information as I can from
some very knowledge folks. I see myself as leaning towards the driver, however that being said I don’t do a lot of miles. Only 4K miles on my 991, adding another car will likely result in less on both. I don’t need a collector car as I don’t want to be afraid of it picking up some character!

In terms of this car I agree it might be getting close to becoming attractive as a driver. But then that’s just based of watching other sales.

Did anyone ever discover the extent of the track incident and repair?

track damage pictures would help. Approved porsche repair facility would also be better.

slight damage can be repaired but will always affect resale.
the cup car version can take a beating and the street car is the same. As long as it holds an alignment and the paint/repair is proper, it is still good.
insurance repair car can make a great budget driver. Something you can buy for a low price, thrash, and get your money back.
